This subject seems hard to grasp especially for those of us not knowledgable about it. Might that be the reason that the bill was passed without debate? Or, is it because the Conservatives are too afraid of the political backlash amongst younger urban voters? Anytime I have emailed a ConservativeMP or MLA I do not receive a reply on transgender issues. I have joined the Conservative Party in the hope that I might get some insight into what if anything their policy is.

How can one thing (that is not comparable to another thing in a categorical sense) match another thing, which is now said to be irrelevant in law and language?
If female spaces and sports were reserved for the female sex, with separate space for transgendered folk, then this whole subject would fade away. When I can change my gender whenever I please, it is reduced in importance similar to what colour my suit I wear today, or car I drive or mood I am in.
For children who have experienced sexual or drug abuse at home, autistic, bullying or homosexual traits need to have access to compassionate psychotherapy that explores what could be the cause of their distress.The number of detransitioners shows how dangerous this life changing process is. Finland, Sweden and the UK as well as France, Aust and NZ have all imposed restrictions on what is an experimental medical treatment.
